Moran, still a very young band, has succeeded in attracting fans from all over the world with its unique Visual Kei style and sound. Producing high quality melodies and backed by well known musicians from the scene, Moran continues to grow with each release and shows the world the beauty behind its music.

Moran officially formed in March 2008 with vocalist Hitomi and drummer Soan from the popular Visual Kei band, Fatima, as well as bassist Zill of KuRt, and guitarist Velo from Haikara. In 2007 the members of Moran already played together in session bands. Since November 2007 the four are active in their current constellation. However, they didn't decide upon a name for the band until January 2008 and at the time when they officially started their bandactivities in March 2008 the members also changed their stage names.

Within their first six months of formation, Moran held several events at Takadanobaba AREA. Their first tour included seven dates and went from the end of April through June, with three of them played at Shibuya O-EAST.

On June 25, 2008, Moran released their first maxi single entitled Element, which was limited to 2000 copies. It ranked #5 in popularity on Oricon in July. Through the summer, the band continued to tour with twelve stops across Japan. Their second maxi single, Mokka no Nukarumi released on July 23rd and, like its predecessor, was limited to 2000 copies and ranked #5 on Oricon for August.

In August, Moran opened their official MySpace, and the band held their first one-man live entitled [MoranHolic] on September 7, 2008 at Takadanobaba AREA. During the fall, Moran appeared on the omnibus Shockedge 2008 with the popular song, Hameln and released their third maxi single, Kimi no Ita Gosenfu on November 12th.

Moran has taken no time for a breather and announced a national tour from November 11 to December 25. Through December they also played at several large events, including two New Year's Countdowns, Year End of Holiday 2008-2009 at Shinjuku Holiday, and stylish wave COUNTDOWN'08-'09 hosted by ESP Entertainment at Yokohama Akarenga Hall. On January 7, 2009, they participated in Beautiful:madnesS vol.2 -Beautiful worLd- at Shibuya O-EAST. Moran had their 1st anniversary one-man show, entitled Children of the Museum at Shibuya O-WEST on March 20, 2009, right after releasing their 4th maxi-single Helpless on March, 18th. A second event tour followed, covering eight cities across Japan.

On July 22nd their first Mini-Album entitled Heroine will be released and a third event tour with nine stops will follow in August ending in Escort to the Deepest, the 1st One-man-tour composed of three lives at the end of August and beginning of September.

Moran holds an incredible amount of promise and with the band already busily filled their schedule for 2009, we can expect to see many more great things from them in the future!(Unfortunately, Zill felt ill in June and his doctor forbade him specifically to perform until 21.August 2009, so Moran were forced to go on the BRAND-NEW→ROMANCE-tour with a support bassist. The following lives and instore events in July and August will be all wihout Zill, who nevertheless is on the best way to recover.)
