 | | THE BAND: the GazettE is at present one of the most popular and successful Visual Kei Bands in Japan. the GazettE was founded in 2002 by Ruki (vocals) , Uruha (guitar), Aoi (guitar), Reita (bass) and Yune (drums). In the early 2003, drummer Yune left the band and Kai joined in the band shortly after as a drummer.
the GazettE is one of today´s absolute top acts in the Visual Kei scene. the GazettE was a small band that started out in early 2002 but made it big when they released a maxi-single called "Madara" that was also released with a DVD that had music videos for each song.
the GazettE take over the stage with a lot of confidence, looking and sounding like consumate professionals . While still visual, their music manages to convey a more street-credible punk element as well that is leading them to fill bigger and bigger venues. Having a variety of great songs -- sing-alongs, headbangs, bouncers -- doesn't hurt either. More than ever they are becoming the next of the biggest J-Rock bands.
With their album "NIL" they made their first appearance on the music scene in Europe. Later on the GazettE released their successfull albums "STACKED RUBBISH" & "DIM", several Single CDs, Live-DVDs & performend on sold-out Live-tours through Europe to prove that they are the masters of J-Rock, both in Japan & Europe! |
the GazettE - NIL
Available as a normal CD and as a Limited Special Collector's Edition in a velvet box with embossed printing featuring a booklet in English which focuses on the contents of the lyrics of the songs along with the original Japanese booklet and a DVD.
We are excited to be offering for the first time the the GazettE album in Europe. There will be two different versions of the album available for European fans of Visual Kei and J-Rock and of this stylish Visual Kei band the GazettE:
- The normal CD with a European Booklet containing texts explaining the gist of the songs
- A Special Limited Collector's Edition of 1500 copies of a special Japan Import in a velvet fold-up box with embossed printing including a booklet in English containing texts explaining the gist of the songs as well as the original Japanese booklet and a DVD.

- The Band's single "Cassis" is so popular in Japan that it is used as the opening melody to one of Japan´s most well-known television shows "Rank Ôkoku" on TBS.
- The song "Chizuru" appeared as main theme on the Korean movie "Apartment". the gazettE´s video clip incluedes scenes taken from the movie.
- Numerous reviews are appearing in German magazines Bravo, Popcorn, Bravo Girl!, Rock Hard, Zillo, Orkus, Sonic Seducer to name just a few publications.
